Project Description:
SmartDrive Uk were a brand new driving school looking to get a head start with their business via the internet. They were looking for a fun and intriguing design whilst at the same time simple to navigate through. We were asked to design a logo which could be used on the website, letter heads and also their cars! To add the fun atmosphere to the site, we developed a shockwave flash animation that tied in with the logo at the top of the page. Two sets of customised contact forms were developed for this site, one for learner drivers and one for driving instructors. Smartdrive took advantage of our Content Management System, this enabled the administrator to add and edit the text content of the site without the worry of damaging the HTML structure. Valid HTML 4.01 Transitional, CSS and strategic keyword placement made this a search engine friendly project and soon delivered the traffic that SmartDrive Uk were hoping for.

Smartdrive UK also asked us if we could design an advertisement to be placed in the UK Yellow Pages. We illustrated a vector based advertisement that was suitable for printing. We worked in communication with SmartDrive's Yellow Pages representative to implement the advertisement into the next publication. Click on the thumbnail image for a larger view!

Shortly after completion of the Yellow Pages project, SmartDrive shown an interest in having some of the graphics that we had designed for them to be placed on their company vehicle's. SmartDrive prefered the same logo as designed for the Yellow Pages ad as this would compliment the colour of their cars.

The logo was re-designed in vector format to the size's specified by SmartDrive and then sent of to a vehicle graphics specialist for cutting and applying to the vehicle's. The results were fantastic and SmartDrive Uk were very pleased with the output.
